The Frank Colea Benevolent Fund

ABOUT THE FUND

Major Frank J. Colea was a 25-year veteran of the Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department who passed away after a long battle with cancer.  Frank also served his Country in the U.S. Army with the 101st  Airborne. Frank lived his life demonstrating caring and concern for all.

Frank’s friends established the Colea Benevolent Fund to keep his spirit of caring and concern alive.  Proceeds from the Prince George’s County Professional Fire Fighters & Paramedics Association Annual Golf Tournament benefit the Colea Benevolent Fund.

This fund is used solely to support Fire Fighters, Paramedics, and other members of the Public Safety community who are called upon to protect us from the dangers of fire, injury and illnesses, natural disasters and acts of terrorism. Your contribution is used in support of our First Responders who have suffered from burn injuries, physical injuries, hazardous exposures and chronic illness.
